Our concerts

The 2026 autumn season opens in baroque style with the Ambitus choir (conducted by Roby Schiltz), presenting Charpentier's Te Deum, excerpts from George Frideric Handel's "Coronation Anthems" and the famous Amen from Handel's Messiah, in memory of the late Pierre Cao.

The traditional Journées du Patrimoine, organised and supported by the Ministry of Culture, give Estro Armonico the opportunity to explore the theme of ancient stones. The orchestra will present a work by the composer Pierre Kremer. He drew his inspiration from a nature reserve in the south of the country, where very old stones form hills, to compose "Red Rocks" for marimba, alto flute, violin and string orchestra. Karl Jenkins and Philip Glass are also on the programme.

The Advent season opens with the concert "Au seuil de l'Avent" with the Maîtrise Sainte-Cécile of Notre-Dame Cathedral, conducted by Marc Dostert, in a programme full of discoveries (Andris Sejans, Finzi, Steve Dobrogosz). On the second Sunday of Advent, "The Star of Bethlehem" by Rheinberger will feature in the traditional "Concert Spirituel" with Sängerfreed Bëtebuerg, conducted by Nancy Back-Kelsen. On the third Sunday of Advent, excerpts from Johann Sebastian Bach's Christmas Oratorio, among other works, will be heard in the church of Grevenmacher with the Chorale Municipale de Grevenmacher, conducted by Salomé Sanchez. Finally, the Choir of the Basilica of Echternach, the Chorale Berdorf – Consdorf and the Ensemble Vocal Eurocantica, under the joint direction of Marc Juncker and Daniel Lang, will perform works by Patrick Colombo, MacDowell and Rutter. The year 2026 will close with the concert of the prize-winners of the Conservatoire de Luxembourg, conducted by Emmanuelle Bizien.
